Camera is Frozen

If your camera starts to freeze, there are a few steps you can take.. If your camera is freezing on the DOD logo:

Please eject the memory card and power the camera. Should the camera power on normally, then there is an issue with your memory card, and you should try a different, known good class 10 SD card try using that in place of the current card. We do not recommend Sandisk cards due to the history of failures with DOD Tech products.

If the camera still freezes on the DOD Logo, please contact DOD Tech directly.

If your camera is freezing while recording:

Please eject the memory card and power the camera. Check to see if the camera freezes while the memory card is out of the camera. If it does not, please attempt to format your the memory card by following these instructions. Once your card has been formatted, please insert the card back into the camera. Should the camera keep freezing, try a different, known good class 10 SD card try using that in place of the current card.

If the camera still freezes while using a different class 10 SD card, please contact DOD Tech directly.
